Adding Reservations to your Website is easy with OrderPort
The OrderPort Reservations module enables wineries to accept reservations online and by phone. Customers receive a confirmation via email or text and managers can check-in to add to the experience. The online process is intuitive and optimized for use on phones.
The Customer Reservation Experience
Customers are given the option to sign-in if they have an account with the winery. This enables the winery to customize options for customers. This might include the available tasting areas, tasting types, or fees. The winery can configure their reservation inventory by location, area, date, time, and the number of guests.
Location. Customers begin by selecting a tasting room location. For wineries with multiple tasting rooms or areas within the tasting room customers simply click or touch options as they are presented. Selections advance the customer to the next step.
Guests. The number of guests includes all guests whether they are tasting or only attending. The winery can set the minimum and maximum for guests per reservation and customers with larger groups are prompted to call for assistance.
Dates. A calendar for the current month is presented with dates available for reservations highlighted. Customers can advance to future months with a touch and make selections.
Time. Available times are displayed for the date chosen and the customer makes their selection. If the preferred time is not available, customers are prompted to contact the winery for assistance.
Tastings. Wineries can give customers a tasting menu to choose from and optionally include items such as food and bottle purchases.
Confirmation. A summary of the reservation details is displayed and the customer enters their name, phone, and email. Contact information for customers that sign-in would already be included in the summary. Customers are prompted to agree to the winery’s terms and conditions for tasting room visits then confirm their reservation.
Checkout. Wineries have the option to require customers to pre-pay with their reservation or pay at the winery. Customers receive a reservation confirmation and the reservation details are added to the reservation schedule where the winery can access the details in the OrderPort Point of Sale.
